Document Search FAQs

Q. Where can I find the Option or dash number on my charger?

A. Currently the dash numbers, which represent options available for that particular model, do not appear on the charger. The easiest way to find the dash number is to look at the original invoice. We understand that this may not always be possible, especially considering the considerable size of the secondary market for Lester Electrical chargers. Luckily, most charger dash numbers refer to different cord lengths, receptacles, or labeling information so the actual charger owner's manual is the same for all options. If there is any doubt, however, as to what dash number your charger is, please contact a Lester Electrical customer service representative at 402-477-8988 or by email at service@lesterelectrical.com.

Lester Electrical is working on implementing dash numbers onto the serial number labels that appear on the back of most chargers. We are also putting together information for the website that will help individuals identify what option they have with their charger. Look for details in the Tech Service section of the Lester Electrical website.

Q. I can't find the where to enter the model number and don't see the Search button.

A. The Document Search Engine utilizes frames. Your browser must be capable of using frames to most easily use this feature. If your browser is not capable of using frames, visit the NO FRAMES page. Your browser will have to be set up to allow for pop-ups if you use the No Frames search page.

Another cause for this problem may be due to the resolution of your monitor. The ideal resolution settings for viewing the pages on the Lester Electrical website are 1024x768 or 800x600. We have designed most pages, including the search pages, to be easily viewed on most monitor settings. If you still have difficulty viewing the search function, please let the webmaster know at marketing@lesterelectrical.com.

Q. I get errors that say "A font required for font substitution is missing." and "Cannot find or create the font 'WASP39LC'. Some characters may not display or print correctly."

A. These messages are not uncommon. The font that is missing, WASP39LC, is a licensed font used to print the bar code normally found in the upper right hand corner of the first page. This bar code is used for tracking purposes in our packing and shipping process. The error message just indicates that the font is not installed on your computer. Clicking "OK" on both of these messages will not result in losing any data or text from the body of the manual. The bar code is not necessary for you to print out a copy or save a copy of the document.
